From Michigan to the Golden Coast
Dr. Clark received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and English Literature from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Staying local, she went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine degree with High Distinction from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. She then traveled to California to complete a combined general and plastic surgery residency at Stanford University Medical Center. Licensed in California, she is part of the elite group of Sacramento plastic surgeons who are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Giving Back
Giving back to those less fortunate is something Dr. Clark has always had a strong interest in. These desires led to traveling to Haiti, Guatemala and Peru to perform reconstructive surgery for both children and adults. "These experiences have left a profound impact on my life and have also been some of the most enriching experiences I've had," says Dr. Clark. "I am now embarking on another adventure besides being a cosmetic plastic surgeon — being a mom!" With her husband James and her daughter Ellen, Dr. Clark lives in Sacramento and enjoys the beauty of Northern California.
