This mid sixty year old gentleman from Mendocino presented with excessive skin of his upper eyelids. It obscured his visual fields and required him to tilt his head back when driving. During a one hour procedure performed under local anesthesia alone, we removed the excess upper eyelid skin and fat. There was minimal bruising following the procedure and he returned to activities as normal several days following surgery. He's thrilled with the results of surgery (and he has to be because he's Dr. Kaufman's father-in-law!)
